Swam for over an hour in Ballyscanlon, very warm and no chlorine, obviously not great for your transition or parking

Absolutely. looking forward to it. Going off my head not been able to train the last week so can't wait.
It'd be great if we could do the swim in the open water but transition would be a problem so it's probably best done in pool.
Can we get an idea of how many are up for it?
You can count me in.
Seamie also wants in.

I'm up for it. We can leave bikes in my house if people don't want to leave them in the car park.

Seamies gonna drive out in the van so there'll be plenty of space to stash bikes in that if needs be.
Now to rope some volunteers to provide water at the half way mark of the run, I wonder would Tawdy (Speeling??) be interested....

i'll open up at 8, start swimming at 8.15 or so.. bikes can be put inside but not left in reception for all to see, either in the changing hall or studio...5 euro per person to go to splashworld..id be happy just leaving water at the halfway point rather than roping in people, or else change the route to do loops of tramore??

A half ironman thread under a Quintuple Enduroman is probably not the best place for a report.
Seeing that Ian did a half most days before breakfast. I think he should of had his own Thread may be website Cool.
Six of us started swimming a little later due to someone forgot their cycling shoes.
Celina counted laps kept us honest didnt even let me off a lap.
Cycle was windy for one half same for the run.
I think alot of the tri club were on the road to see us suffer or just to keep us honest.
We all finished. cheers cheers
