and does anybody know if the run transition will be back to the same gear from out of the swim ie, will we need to have two sunscreens etc??

Is there any point in all of us bringing over big bike pumps??plan on having tires done day before but will there be time/enough pumps in transition the morning before if they need a top up??

Thanks Steve, missed the race belt, I was bringing a normal small pump for the bike(old fashioned, dont trust those co2s on their own) also bringing cycling gloves a lods of vaseline for the cycle and run and maybe a sun hat for the run. I will have a track pump anyway.

I think Steve is avoiding taking vaseline in case either of the marks that he's sharing the two man tent with get the wrong idea.

just reading that transition, last year anyways, was like any other triathlon, all the stuff by ur bike, changing tents avaliable but most people just ignored..few people saying something to cover ur run stuff, like black sack, in case it rains..

A few more things I will be packing;

small pump for bike
patch kit (for tube repair during race just in case)
summer/short cycle gloves
Large Towel for Trans. (to change under if necessary)

Also not to forget...
Travel Tickets etc.
Passport
TI Card

I think I will wear my Tri shorts for the whole race, I did long TT cycle in them yesteday and felt fine afterwards and comfortable during it...

what kind of top are ye runnin? its 31 degrees there today? bicycle top? or just tri top?
