Ironman TT Practice
With less than 16 weeks to go to race day and 13 to Taper Time, it’s time to get out on the TT bike as much as possible.
Now I know we need to get used to being out on our own on our machines, but I was thinking, and I’m only throwing it out there, what about if we were to meet up and head out the road with a few minutes between us. That way, it’ll feel like we have company even though we’ll be working on our own. We could even meet up at the turn around/half way point if people want and then head back, or not. Thing is, there’s no need to kill oneself. Think of it just as your long steady spin and you can work on your power and speed over a shorter TT route mid week or whenever. What thinks ye?
I’m planning on heading down to Dungarvan and back tomorrow morning if anyone’s up for it. Plan is to increase it incrementally so I’m spinning down to Youghal eventually.
Martin mentioned another possible TT route to Enniscorthy via New Ross. Any other good TT route suggestions, i.e. on good roads, would be welcome.

Dunno. 9ish? Was only planning on 3 hrs as it'll be my first spin past 2 hrs. Leavin my house at 9 I suppose, heading for Dungarvan, then turn around and home.
Was also planning a 2 hr spin on the bike (TT) Sunday morning if anyone's interested in that?

Well Lads the plan tommorrow is to get out on the TT bike for a 3hr 30min bike so gladly meet up with you guys - is it a meet at Crystal at 9am
Sunday plan was to head out again on TT bike for 1hr 30 min bike followed by a 10k run, no time or place decided yet, but again gladly meet up with whoever is interested in doing something similar.

Re: Ironman TT Practice
Sounds good to me.
Can we say 9.15 at Waterford Crystal as I've got to let builders in at 9?
Copperman, replied to message.
Picking up the training wheels after work but tempted to put the good ones on as the weather's meant to be smashing tomorrow, not sure why that would make me put the good wheels on but there you go.
