Valentia training Empty Valentia training

Post by steve Mon May 17, 2010 12:41 am

was just looking at what training could be done the weekend of valentia..i was thinking of something like run on the sat, after tri (run the bike course ??), and on sunday was looking at a cycle around the headland into kenmare & Kilarney..a full loop would be 110 odd miles but if we could get picked up in Kilarney it would be around 70miles..so depends on how early people willing to get up on sunday Sleep Sleep (know i wouldn't be able to get any cycle in after driving home)...any thoughts???

(possible cycle)

Would possibly be up for a cycle on the Sunday but there's no way I'm doing owt on the Saturday after race. Crisps and one or two Guinness shall be imbibed drunken and an early night will ensue.... Sleep

Ring of Kerry (to Killarney anti-clockwise!) sounds good on the Sunday. Wasn't really planning on too early a start though. Another caveat...I possibly pull out of more training sessions than I actually do.

As nice as a cycle on the ring of Kerry sounds, a longish run on Sunday morning and the drive home will be enough for me Very Happy and post race Saturday hopefully sitting out in the sun drinking a beer or 2 Cool
