4 Men in a Camper - Latest update

Great weekend, lots of rivalry, though that was not apparent in results! Did you not have enough of each other cooped up in camper; you had to spend the whole race together as well. If you were both in such a sociable mood you could have waited for me?

Latest news from the other end of the country...

They are returning with 2 medals from the National duathlon champs. Shane finished 3rd in his age-group (in a very competitive age-group which the race winner was in..) to finish 8th overall in 1.54.42 with Martin Kirwan winning Gold in his age-group to finish 9th overall in 1.54.46. Stefan finished 26th overall in 2.04.02.

Apparently there was fierce competition between Shane & Martin who came in together after the 1st run, Shane was just about 20m ahead of Martin for the whole bike (he said everytime he looked over his shoulder, Martin was in sight) and they ran together for the 2nd run, till a sprint finish about 50m from the finish.

(There was no pre race pack to hold hands over the finish line )

Well done to them all.

Im sure the camper will return in a perfect state! Ive put the cleaning products in - just hope they all know how to use them

Best of Luck to the 4 lads heading off on their road trip tomorrow..Shane, Martin K, Stefan & Tom C. who are competing in the National Duathlon champs in Donegal on Sunday. All travelling & sleeping together in Martin's campervan..no women to look after them for a change..

However will they cope?!
