Mount Leinster Challenge 2010

Grand job - who doesn't love getting up for breakfast at 6 at the weekend? I wonder will we be alright for registering, etc, on the day? I'd hate not to get my medal....

That sounds good, bags a space in the camper.

I would rather cycle down as well, at least when your finished thats it prob have to leave at 7am. Olive is prob going to do it aswell she could drive down the camper could fit prob 6 or 7 bikes and riders on the way back.

I like the cycling up there before it idea but how do we get home then?

yep im up for it...another option is to cycle up in the morning before the tour, cause we will probably end up arsing around after it anyways???least we be home ealy enough that way..

the Mount Leinster Challenge 2010 is on Saturday 15th May, with 100 km and 140 km routes, both starting from Enniscorthy. Myself, Ro and Carol are thinking of heading up there. For people of the Iron persuasion, Enniscorthy is around 45 miles (from Tramore, anyhow), so 100 km plus the cycle home would be in or about 110 miles, which is what I'm hoping to do. Company would make that road a little shorter, if anyone is interested.

Entry is €25, plus €10 for a one-day license if you're not a member of Cycling Ireland, and you get a medal even if you don't win All the details are at http://www.slaneycyclingclub.com/?page_id=33
