Grand job - who doesn't love getting up for breakfast at 6 at the weekend? I wonder will we be alright for registering, etc, on the day? I'd hate not to get my medal....

I would rather cycle down as well, at least when your finished thats it prob have to leave at 7am. Olive is prob going to do it aswell she could drive down the camper could fit prob 6 or 7 bikes and riders on the way back.

Mount Leinster Challenge 2010

Post by Marco on Sun May 02, 2010 1:35 am

Hi folks,

the Mount Leinster Challenge 2010 is on Saturday 15th May, with 100 km and 140 km routes, both starting from Enniscorthy. Myself, Ro and Carol are thinking of heading up there. For people of the Iron persuasion, Enniscorthy is around 45 miles (from Tramore, anyhow), so 100 km plus the cycle home would be in or about 110 miles, which is what I'm hoping to do. Company would make that road a little shorter, if anyone is interested.

Entry is €25, plus €10 for a one-day license if you're not a member of Cycling Ireland, and you get a medal even if you don't win cheers All the details are at http://www.slaneycyclingclub.com/?page_id=33

So come on Barry - Peter has dragged us up every God-forsaken cliff-face in the land of the yellow stripe, now show us that 'it's a beauty to behold when you see the purple and gold.'
