Hey Stefan,
We've stayed in the Mespil a few times and found it really handy. Usually full of runners so no eejits running through corridor at 2am. They serve an early marathon breakfast. It's about 10-15 min walk to start and they allowed us shower at hotel afterwards. Don't know what we're doing this year yet.

We're staying with family this year but stayed in the Hilton in Kilmainham the last couple of years. Its €95 odd for the room and is on the route of the marathon - about the 10 mile mark, so your loved ones need only roll out of bed to cheer you on. Think Mike B is staying there which, should be reason enough alone for you!

Dublin Marathon...
Christ no pressure then eh!........you have to much time on your hands.....
Dublin Marathon .. how many are signed up now... feel my credit card having to be used... and just as i was heading on holidays, maybe this will have to come in conversation over the next two weeks in the sun!!!!
