Altitude Bike Maintenance Workshop
Altitude Bike shop in Ballybricken is organising a bike maintenance workshop over the next few weeks.
The following information can be found on the Commeragh CC website and they have extended the invitation to everyone in our Club
* ***************************
In the next few weeks Altitude will be running Basic Bike Maintainence classes, first date available is Monday March 22nd March. The first night is being offered to Comeragh CC, Participation is totally free and Altitude will have some energy food samples and bits and pieces to give away as well.
See www.comeraghcc.com for a draft programme of what will get covered during our Basic Maintainence classes. They will run on Monday evenings and we will limit numbers to about a dozen at a time. Apart from the actual demo and talk, there will be handout sheets for participants to take away.
* *****************************
Apart from puncture repairs they will cover such things as - Chain lubrication, gear tuning, tightening headsets, bike cleaning, loose spokes, essetial bike tools and any other questions you might have.
You don't have to bring your bike or anything as they will have 1 or 2 bikes set up to show everything. This is a great opportunity to ask all those questions you have always been afraid to let on you don't know the answers to!
Could anyone interested please contact either Eamon or David at Altitude Tel: 051 - 870356/850228 or email altitude@indigo.ie (www.altitude.ie) it will be on a first come first in basis. Let them know you are in our Triathlon Club and they will try to arrange a class where we are all together (might be split over more classes depending on how many of us are interested)
This will be well worth while for both new and experienced cyclists. And it's free!
