Re: SATURDAY SPINS
Thanks to the Comeragh cycle club for letting us tag along with them last Saturday morn. Myself & Emmet decided at the last minute to join up with them and we headed off towards Thomastown and back by the Rower and New Ross. Head wind all the way home made it tough. Ended up doing about 65miles at 17.5mph. Was so tired when we hit Wateford I could not keep Emmet company for any of his cycle back to Tramore...(sorry!). Not used to the long miles!

Met a few club members running strong off their long bikes around Tramore this afternoon - fair play lads, you're looking good for Klagenfurt!
It's getting so bad around here, I'm considering wearing the aero helmet next time I'm out walking the child, just to fit in better!

Re: SATURDAY SPINS
Pio, last time we did it (biking ito town to meet you all on the way out, then biking back into town and then out to Tramore and home) I topped just over the 112mls, so you should be good.
So for your finish you will have to come into the Top Garage and then do an out and back to Tramore. Or you can meet us in Tramore at 8:00 and get it in first?

Re: SATURDAY SPINS
Will this route get us the 112 miles? For some of us it might take more then 5.30.

Re: SATURDAY SPINS
I'm in 8:00 at Pickardstown - 8:30 at Top Garrage
Would'nt mind doing the Dungarvan, Cappoquin, over the Vee to Clonmel and back again. If you want to make it up to 6 hours you might have to do an out and back to Tramore?
I'm happy with 5:30 spin covering the full distance myself not bothered in doing anything over 112mls

Re: SATURDAY SPINS
Well lads, I know it's hard to think about a 6 hour cycle when you look at the weather now but it looks like in will clear up for tomorrow, fingers crossed.
Who's in, what's the plan and route? Wind might not be bad but then again.

Any ideas on a loop that we can repeat with some hills, think we need to look at mimicking the actual event at this stage?
