Really enjoyed the cycle last night also and thanks to all the lads who eased the pace so I could catch up with ye on the hills on the coast road

Yep you're probably right. I'm only keeping Dillons seat warm while we await the big come back though.
There's good reasons I'm not usually allowed write the reports. Getting the names spelt wrong is one of the milder ones

Re: Thursday nights cycle
Few of us met for a handy cycle in lovely conditions this evening. Norma, Tom C, Stephan, Ger H, John McD & Myself went out the cork rd and turned to bunmahon at Kilmac.
We were just over two hours. There wasn't even an wind on the coast rd.
This is closest I've come to posting something in my role as PRO. It won't happen again for another two years

Thursday nights cycle
Last year we used to meet every Tuesday night for a shorter club spin, but as our TT has moved to Tuesdays, we will now meet every Thursday evening instead.
Meet at 6.30pm at Top Garage on Cork rd (beside B&Q roundabout). Average distance 30miles. We can break into 2 groups if the numbers require so speed of the groups will vary but no-one will be left behind at any stage.
Some of the "Ironman guys" expressed an interest in doing this as a time trial cycle on their TT bikes, with everyone starting off at different times (not to be timed or anything, just doing the cycle on your own but knowing there are others around somewhere..maybe head out towards Lemybrien and back)
It's a good opportunity to get a quick spin in so, starting next Thurs, hope to see you all there.
