Waterford Half Marathon postponed till Sat. 15th Jan.

OK guys....we are listening to you all. Race rescheduled for Saturday 15th January at 12 noon. Number collection will be rearranged for that week. All entries recieved will be carried foreward to the 15th January.

Loads of time for everyone to get back the fitness lost over the last 10 days with the bad weather!

Now that the Triathlon season is over, don't hibernate till after xmas and hang up the runners just yet...

The Waterford AC half marathon is on Sat. 11th Dec at 11am. It's a lovely flat, fast course. There were about 1000 runners in it last year, including over 20 of us from the club so it's a great event. Costs €22 for pre-entry or €30 on the day.

As regarding training, we will be in Portlaw every Sat. morn from now on to do some nice long slow run. Meet at 10am at car park area up past the church. 2 groups, slow and slightly faster..
