Alive and well in Belgium Slatts :-)

Hope all the IM training is going well :-) Only 7 weeks to go now :-)

As for me, well I'm actually training at the moment! First test of training is a very hilly half marathon on Sun 13th in La Roche en Ardenne.

It's supposed to be a Portlaw style course! !

Keep up the good work WTC :-)

1.32! Would have been faster only for tripping up Gullit and Van Basten but at least I told em; 'that was for Euro 88 lads!'

One of the questions at next year's Comeragh CC Quiz; What member of WTC tripped up Ruud Gullit and Marco Van Basten in the opening mile before stringing 10 consecutive 6.45min miles together, before falling asunder at mile 10 and before capitulating altogether at mile 12 before walking the last half a mile but to still finish as the first Irishman home in Maastrict Half Marathon:

It's a Mutiple Choice Question:

Brian Slattery who has perfected the art of Bilocation
Noel Dillon who has perfected the art of falling asunder in the closing stages of long distance races
Martin Kirwan who has perfected the art of doing cartwheels in the closing stages of races
Shane Scalding who has perfected the art of becoming an Irishman

Well Martink, preparation has not been good to be perfectly honest. If I get anywhere near 1.30 I'll be happy but 1.35 is more realistic :-) But Ig I trip up Ruud Gullit I'll be happy. Very Happy
