New Irish online bike company Empty New Irish online bike company

Please see below email from a fella I know from dublin who's set up an online bike company specialising in cycle to work scheme, he might be worth a shout if your thinking of upgrading:

Hi All,

Over the past number of months David Gillick and myself have started a new business venture together selling bicycles primarily to businesses under a new cycle-to-work scheme introduced by the Irish Government. The scheme is very easy to implement so don’t be put off by those who say it’s too complicated.

The employer purchases the bike that you choose. You pay for it either in one lump sum payment or in 12 monthly stages. And here is the nice bit….

· Yousave 47% or 27% off the purchase price of the bike depending on which tax bracket you fall into.
· The employer also receives a tax benefit of 6% in PRSI contributions.
· To put that in monetary terms - if you see a bike that is worth €500 you will only end up paying €265 (47% higher tax) or €365 (27% lower tax).
· That works out at just €22 or €30 per month respectively

We have set up our own website www.onyerbike.ie which explains how the scheme works in more detail. It will also give you an indication of the bikes we are able to offer you; however we can provide the complete trek range so please let us know if you are interested in a bike which is not listed.

We won’t bore you any longer and have therefore attached 2 brochures that outline in more detail the services we provide. We would greatly appreciate it if you would forward this email onto any friends or colleague’s who may be interesting in buying a bike in the future.

Thanks for taking the time to read the email and we thank you in advance for forwarding this to people you know. As it is only a new business word of mouth is our most effective form of advertising.

We look forward to hearing from you in the future.
